In 2016, Microsoft is bringing a different roster of video game exclusives to the Xbox One. With a return of classic Xbox franchises and new epic adventures, there’s a lot to look forward to 2016 on the Xbox One. Here is a list of Xbox One exclusives set to arrive in 2016 that have mouths watering to play.
Gears of War 4
Gears of War returns with the fourth entry in the series. Gears of War 4 will take players through a new campaign set directly after Gears of War 3. As the first title in the series made by new developer The Coalition and series veteran Rod Fergusson, Gears of War 4 has high expectations set from the franchise fanbase.
The latest project from Remedy Entertainment, Quantum Break is a third-person shooter that tells the story of protagonist Jack Joyce. Joyce is a man who has gained the ability to manipulate time. What looks to make Quantum Break fascinating is how gameplay is combined with a live-action digital show. The digital show will depict events of the story from the perspective of the main character, and will play at different points as you progress through the campaign.
Halo Wars 2
Halo Wars 2 is the sequel to the first Halo Wars that released in 2009. This edition of Halo Wars is being developed by Developed by Total War studio Creative Assembly and will launch on Xbox One and PC later this year.
Gamescom 2015 head turner Crackdown 3 looks to use a dynamic physics engine to create a world that is fully destructible. The idea of destroying everything in a new open world is promising, but it should be noted that the mass destruction is only going to be playable in the game’s multiplayer section.
