Forza Motorsport speeds through a new corner on May 5th, 2016. This time, Forza looks to become the premium racing simulator for Windows 10. Created specifically to run on Windows 10, Forza Motorsport 6: Apex looks to be the first step in expanding the future of the Forza franchise onto PCs. Brian Ekberg, the community manager at Turn 10 Studios, states that Apex will combine the power of DirectX 12, Turn 10’s racing pedigree, their ForzaTech engine, and the legacy of Forza games before it. Forza Motorsport 6: Apex looks to bring the award-winning gameplay known on the Xbox consoles to the new Windows 10 gamers a new passion for everything racing.
Forza Motorsport 6: Apex will deliver on Windows 10 PCs a strong and focused single-player tour of Forza Motorsport. Gamers will be able to experience authentic Forza wheel-to-wheel action running on DirectX 12 at resolutions up to 4K. Players will race a powerful starting line-up of 63 beautifully detailed cars that come along with working headlights, doors, and cockpits. Players can push their favorite cars to their limits on 20 exciting tracks located around the world including night and wet-weather races.
The Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Open Beta is set for release on Math 5th and through the summer and players can expect to play a beautiful experience that will run solidly on a variety Windows 10-enable PCs. “As a first-party Microsoft studio,” Ekberg states, “Turn 10 is obsessed with performance in Forza games and, during the open beta for Apex, we will be working to improve the game’s performance on a diverse selection of hardware setups.”
Following the Forza Motorsport 6: Apex beta release on May 5, gamers will be able to download the game start racing. Turn 10 is looking to the community to get involved with the development of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.
