Microsoft announced that their action-adventure game from Armature and Comcept, will not be out until later this year.
“We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore,” a representative for Microsoft informed IGN earlier today. They believe that the game should be released “in the latter half of 2016.”
Microsoft informed that the game would be delayed to provide extra time to develop allowing their team to “provide the best experience to our fans.” Microsoft would continue that the development of ReCore is “coming along great” and that they look to share more of the game later this year.
This delay announcement of ReCore comes after it was announced that the game will be playable on the Xbox One and also the PC. As of now it is not known if both versions of ReCore will be released on the same date.
ReCore, initially announced at E3 2015, was set to release in the during Spring 2015, but now we will have to wait until a later date to experience the full game. Development of the game is handled by the developers of Metroid Prime, Armature, and the studio owned by the creator of Mega Man Keiji Inafune, Comcept. Having two talented teams working on the titles leaves fans wanting more but happy to wait if it gives them a better experience out of the box.
